Bass Recomendations

I have been playing bass for two years now, at the moment i use A Squire P-bass which was great in the begining, but now as I am getting better I feel a need for a better bass. I looked at The Epi Thunderbird and that was ok I also checked out the Peavey Millennium 4 AC BXP which was really good, but before i make a decision I wanted to see if any one could recomend anything. I play in a jam band and a 80's metal cover band if that helps thanks guys. pEace

This is what you have to list if you want advice on what to buy:

1. Music you will be playing which you've stated.
2. 4 string? 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 or or how many
3. Will you be gigging with it?
4. MOST IMPORTANTLY> your price range.

BTW the ac bxps are pretty good, the guy form lamb of god (Paul Campbell) uses one. So going buy that you're limit is 300 400 US? i know the Peavey is 300 us new not sure about the Thunderbird.

I've been playing 7 years, and a Squier P-bass is my main fretted bass. I'm also at College from a Jazz Bass program.

Keep in mind, I have a MIM Fretless Jazz.
And i'm primarily a fretless player.

Look into the highway 1 Fenders. They're killer.
