I am currently searching for a new concerto to begin working on. I usually enjoy romantic style pieces however, I recently came upon the Vanhal Concerto and it seems to be one worth my while. How would you say Vanhal compares to other concertos like Kuss (though, keeping in mind, that they are very different rep)? What makes Vanhal more or less challenging than others?
