Okay guys. Has anybody heard of this bass stack?? Its $750, and I just want to know your opinion on it. Does it have good tone? Is it loud? I really need something stronger than my Peavey TNT.

I'm primarily a jazz, rock and traditional asian music bassist. Can it produce delicious nitty-gritty tones as well as yummy walking bass tones?
Thanks!
(p.s. I use an Ibanez BTB-400QM

Have a look at some used gear, your money will go further. That Acoustic rig is ok, but it is NOT the Famous acoustic name of the 70's, but instead the MF/GC house brand.

I am in LA and used prices here may be lower than other places, but I see $700-800 rigs that are legit pro. Just be careful and don't be afraid to test everything.

+1 you can do better keep looking.

He is trying to sell that used for $750 used??? I just did it... and right now you can go to musiciansfriend, and use thier coupon code and get that exact rig brand new for $675

Also I have this same rig... Althought it is deffinatley not the same as the old Acoustic stuff. I have gotten many compliments on my tone and personally think it sounds good. and withstood the beating and transport ive been doing with it for the last 2 years. I would recommend getting matching cabs instead of a 410/115.. although it doesnt sound bad, the 15 farts out early compared to the 10s

I too would not use the 4x10 along with the 1x15, however separately it would be alright. Gives you flexibility to use the head with either the 4x10 or 1x15 depending on the size of gig you are playing, possible tones and other factors of that sort. I don't know a lot about Acoustic gear, but apparently as others what stated you can buy this setup cheaper and for brand new.

That's the Guitar Center house brand budget line, not the real Acoustic Control Corp. stuff. You could get that stack for close to that brand new on one of their "big sale" weekends.

+1 on the other advise, speaker mismatch, buy quality used, etc.
