Bass Synths

I would try to check out the Studio Electronics modules. Full analog signal path, digital patch memory, and can be found on the cheap on Ebay. I got both of my ATC-1s for less than $400 each. Their stuff dominates on bass. You can even send the units in to them and they can modify them to sound more fuzzy by overdriving the VCA, they can add more filter options, and even add more CV inputs. Cool guys too, though they owe me a couple of T-shirts. I do think the Moog stuff has cooler Pulse wave options, though the Studio Electronics has better modulation and stronger bass.
