Not sure how long this has been up but I’m sad to see them go. These guys always did a nice job IMHO…site was great with previews, samples and some freebies.

Message has been up since about the beginning of the July. Count me disappointed, as well. I really liked Bassbooks and bought a decent amount of stuff over the years.

Not sure how long this has been up but I’m sad to see them go. I loved their books. I often get information from books - Invalid Link Removede to read essays on gothic horror. It was my favourite genre and I diluted educational literature with such books. These guys always did a nice job IMHO…site was great with previews, samples and some freebies.

Yes, they were great books!

Yes, it was sad on this end too. BassBooks.com was a ton of fun, but we couldn't keep pretending the margins in book retailing could sustain a standalone business. (Even Hal Leonard moved into instruments and accessories.)

All is not lost, however. Most of the inventory was acquired by Jason Mendelson at FretNation.com. Keep an eye over there for the BassBooks.com offerings to re-emerge in some form.

Cheers, and thanks for all your support. --Kevin
