BassBuzz

I am almost done. Had 9 mo privatr lessons before starting and prior music background. The course is really geared toward total music noobs. Content is straightforward. Presented in bite sized chunks with little b.s. but also in a fun snd jovial manner. The course comes with a bunch of jam tracks, 50 transcribed songs, and a great community. I found the first 5 modules to be very basic. But they were a good refresher on fundamentals. If the exercises were too easy then i doubled the notes or did octaves. Just enough theory so you understand what you are doing.

All in all, i think i got my money's worth, although i wish the lesson segments were longer and more in depth like his youtube content. Josh is funny, checks the forum, and responds to questions.

Its not a 'technical' course, but rather s 'get you playing' and know enough to jam course. I am having my 8 yr old do it.

Old_noob nailed it.

Glad I took the course. Inspired me to pick up the guitar again, but I am back on the bass and have started going back through the lessons. Easily worth it for the foundational knowledge.

Thank you, gentleman! I appreciate your input. As a 47 year old father of 4 with limited time, this sounds like something that would work for me. I've been messing around with youtube stiff and random information for a few years and want something more structured.
