I'm sorry to hear that, but these things happen. I suppose it's like with a gun safety - always USE it, but don't act like it's a sure thing. Things will always go wrong, your best safety is paying attention.I've burped tubeless tires before but after this pic was taken, I blew my entire tire! There I was, just riding along, when my front tire let off an explosive pop and I was dragged to an abrupt stop. Both beads were completely off the rim and there was sealant everything. It was actually pretty amazing!
I was running brand new rims and tires that I've only ridden once before AND apparently, the pressure guage on my floor pump was wonky. They felt super overinflated by the time to guage got to 20 psi but I attributed it to lack of familiarity with the combo and called it high enough. I'm glad I didn't eat **** and will trust the old-fashioned tire squeeze to guage pressure from now on, just like I did before I ever got a fancy pump.

I just did the week-long Cycle Oregon Classic ride on an old Giant mountain bike from the '90s. Maybe not THE ideal rig for that ride, but it was the most stable option I had. No excuse not to do at least a little bit of gravel. (Those 2" slick e-bike tires were damn heavy - but I never got a single flat!)
I had a whale of a time, can't wait to do it again next year. I plan to be in better shape and run a little lighter.

Saw these while looking for a patch kit for an air mattress, at 500 or 600 CAD, it could make a decent winter commuter, however one feels about the team printed on them

About 360Oof! How many miles did you put on the old girl that week?
They CAN'T only stock the Leafs bikes, they wouldn't sell anywhere like... East of Kingston and probably North of highway sevenCool! Yep - that'll make a good winter commuter. Gotta get some Habs stickers and cover all that Leafs stuff up, though. But I betcha they sell Habs branded ones the closer you get to Montreal, though...

I've really got no dog in the Hockey fight, in all honesty, being from Windsor everybody backed either Toronto or Detroit with a few people really liking the Habs. The Spits were an alright team, but they're not NHL. Nothing ever really stuck out to me.I concur!
