Regarding Veronika:

From time to time, I photograph models in Manhattan.

Some of them are local girls just starting out, and some of them are pretty high up in the fashion world.

Veronika is pretty high up there. She is not only extremely attractive, she's very talented as a fashion designer.

I know photographers in New York that have model workshops from time to time. They send out e-mails telling where and when a model workshop will be, and if you want to attend, and there's room, you attend.

I do this to keep my portrait "Chops" sharp. My favorite category of photography is portraits of people, especially very attractive women. I have been doing this since 1984.

As often as I can, I bring a guitar or bass to create what I call, "brag photos," I.E., photos of very attractive women with an instrument of mine. Who wouldn't want to do this?

And, I have found that as pretty as they are, some professional models are shy and insecure. Go figure.

Sorry for the hijack, but I wanted to answer this question. I am not bragging, this is simply a hobby of mine.

Now that I'm in my 60s, and my hair is grey, most of the models are very nice to me, as they see me as a grandfather figure.

I'm fine with that.

Now, back to the thread.

I have 19 basses. Every time I think about arranging a family photo, I think how exhausting it will be to bring them all upstairs. The lighting in my music room is rather dark to take the photo there.
