Basses on the Couch

Interesting! I’ve never had the opportunity to play one, so i’ve always been curious about them.
I’ve had a few basses that stretched the limits of my left arm’s reach like that,and sold them.
Notice how next to the stingray, it looks like the first fret is at least an inch higher. It looks like the Spector has the bridge up closer to the neck and the neck looks taller than the stingray. So when playing it, it feels shifted further away.

Thanks! Me and David are online Rickenbuddies, his collection is about 5 (?) times what i have.
My Ricks currently are a Cheyenne 1, a Cii, 2 Laredos, and a ‘74 4000.
And Peter @RickenbackeR Farm also has a fabulous herd of Ricks,including a pair of 4004s i’d love to write a bad check for! :laugh:
