Bassists responsible for Pop Chart Toppers

I remember this song from my HS days but at the time didn't appreciate bass as I do now. The bassist is Mike Elizondo.

"L-O-V-E" - Joss Stone.
I think the bassist is Raphael Saadiq. He's credited as the bassist on tracks 2-14 of "Introducing Joss Stone," but according to Wikipedia, "L-O-V-E" is a bonus track, so I can't pin down exactly who actually played on it.

...didn't pick the obvious one. I like this one better. 
The first hit version of that was sung by Nat King Cole, whose vocals were added to the Bert Kaempfert Orchestra's recording, and the bass player was likely a Ladi Geisler, who was actually very important to pop music bass playing.

LaMarquis "ReMarqable" Jefferson - his use of the filter on this just kills me

One from today's charts. One of Lizzo's longtime collaborators, Ricky Reed, is a producer and the bass player on this one. Great funky bass work and great tone.
