This was last summer, probably about 4 inches long. It reached its zenith of about 7 inches last November. It's trimmed back now, but with my Celtic Scots personage it can come back at the snap of the fingers.

It has begun!

I started growing mine on September 30, and I plan on letting it grow at least until New Years. I had mine grow two years ago for about a month during December 2010. It wasn't horrible, but I was a little patchier back then than I am now. I also trimmed it a hair too early and screwed it up

Here's hoping for something much more manly this time around

Anyone else growing their beard currently? I'm about 22 days in and it's starting to look kinda good And in a weird way, I think it has actually helped me out with the ladies some. I've had a lot more women approach me lately than in the past, and the only thing noticeably different about me is my facial hair. Honestly, I was expecting it to have the exact opposite effect lol.

Yep! I'm at 4 weeks. I typically keep a beard year round, but I stupidly shaved it.... I had to trim it today back from 3/4 inch to 1/2 because it was just too wooly. And yes, there are quite a few women who like the ruggedness that a dude has when he grows a beard, it's awesome!
