So, I have a Sandberg TM5 listed in the classifieds here on Talk Bass. I really do like the bass, but I'm also GASing for a J/J 5, with Bass Mods holding my interest over anything else.
I'm wondering if there are any of you out there that have had both a Sandberg 5 and a Bass Mods 5, and what you liked better/worse about the two. I have zero complaints about my Sandberg, just really like the tones I hear from the gospel guys that have the Bass Mods. They sound so damn good and you really don't see many of them playing Sandbergs.
Ultimately, I may just buy a Bass Mods, but having two 5 strings, for me, might not be very practical. I gig with a 4 and a 5, but don't want to have a bass just collecting dust, so to speak.
