Bass Player magazine called me to say that I'd probably be nominated bassist of the year. I was wondering if they called any of you guys too?

Yeah, they called... I thought it was a telemarketer, and for fun, handed the phone to my kids...

I've been told I am on the most wanted list, but not by Bass Player.

They called twice. But it was for worst bass player for me

The only people who would nominate me as bass player of the year are my kids. If there were a ballot process I'm not even sure my wife would vote for me.

Now, plenty of people would vote dor me in my area for guitarist of the year.....primarily because they don't know what I play is called bass.
