BassPlayer magazine - have I been cheated?

OK, I know the closing of the BassPlayer magazine print edition has been discussed, but I can't find any reference to my question.

I received a one year subscription to the magazine last year. Then I was offered an additional two years at a discounted price which I took advantage of. I can find no information online about either a refund of what I paid, or an arrangement whereby that money is applied to an online subscription. There is absolutely no information on their website about this issue, and I have received nothing in either snail mail or email about this matter.

So my question is this: have I just been cheated out of the money I paid for the print edition of the magazine, and if so, how can they get away with this. They have not declared bankruptcy so their commitment has not been made null and void by any such law. Doesn't their acceptance of my subscription payment constitute a contract that legally binds them to either refund my money or apply it to an online membership.

What are your thoughts..

Thump on,

I renewed for two years right before they said see-ya and nothing, I have been getting a people magazine I didn't order and maybe they think that makes up for it, sad!
