BassUp! Solo Bass Round Robin 2012

I hope it's cool with you folks that I post this here. Since Steve Lawson is involved and it's an evening of solo bass, I figured it'd be okay. Please find in your heart to forgive me if it's not.

The BassUp! Solo Bass Round Robin returns for the 2012 winter NAMM show! Ten solo bassists from around the globe will perform Friday, January 20th at Viento y Agua (4007 E 4th Street, Long Beach, CA 90814). This year’s performers are Steve Lawson, Steuart Liebig, Edo Castro, Stew McKinsey, Christopher “C3” Cardone, Brittany Frompovich, Rod Taylor, Zen Beer, John Ady, and Darren Michaels. The show starts at 7PM. Admission is free, all ages are welcome, and no NAMM badge or pass is required. Ditch that convention center, get out to the beach, and check out an evening of solo bass!

I went to a few of your seminars at Bob Amstadt's in San Jose, always had a great time.

You're right, Michael! I, for one, found it incredibly inspiring. There were a lot of different takes on what it is to play solo bass. Hope you can make it one of these go rounds.
