Battery box options

What battery box would be my best option to Install on a DIY Fender Jaguar bass? Building an active bass and looking for any input on make/model and most ideal location for wiring purposes.

I got tired of removing a screw down plate that only had room for one 9 volt battery and wanted to run a new preamp at 18volts. Someone posted a circuit in an external box that used a 9 or 18 volt Walwort to power the bass thru A stereo cable with TRS plugs and pass signal from bass to amp.Built my own. Works great

Well, Fender puts it here:

There are battery boxes that don't require unscrewing to change the battery. They typically have little plastic clips that hold them closed which can break. A simple plate like Fender uses is pretty much guaranteed to work problem free

If you use a battery box, rather than just a rout with a cover, I would advise against those that pivot the battery out when you open the cover, like this:

I have had to repair or replace so many of them because the wires have broken off from flexing when the box is opened and closed. The ones I prefer are like this:

The contacts for the battery are fixed in place in the body of the box - no wire flexing when you open the case. Simpler, cheaper, and they don't require as deep a rout as the first kind.

Are they available in double for 18V?

Haven't seen a double in real life though. Saw one online from MEC but couldn't find it in North America.
