I recently aquired an old '78 BB 1200 - knowing ahead of time that it has some issues - and I have all of them sorted out except for one. The brass head of the truss rod has pretty much been rounded off - except at the farthest point at the back. I can get a wrench on it - just barely - and not enough for it to grip and hold on for it to be turned. It really could use a half turn - and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas ? It's a tight spot - if you own one of these you know what I'm talking about. It seems to need to be a 90 degree - Gibson guitar type wrench - but with a longer socket end. Any nut drivers or sockets that I have won't fit in the cavity. Help ??
