Double Bass BB Wolf fingering question

I'm learning BB Wolf for a children's recital, and I have a question for all of you who have gone before me. Are measures 29-30 correct as printed in the Carl Fischer part? If so, how did you finger them? I also have the David Murray VHS tape that I'm watching very closely, and I just can't figure out how to finger those two bars. All help appreciated!

Well, in the absence of replies, I have worked out a solution that I will learn, and am posting it here just in case someone else decides to learn this piece and has the same questions.

Bar 29- play the G open and play the Bb, Ab, and A on the D string, then play the C# with the thumb on the G string and the C, Bb, and B on the D string.

Bar 30- E with the thumb on the G string and Eb, C#, and D on the D string; G with the thumb and F#, E, and F on the D string; and B on the G string and Bb, G#, and A on the D string.
