BBE B-MAX EQ?????

i was reading the bbe b-max's manual and it says that the bass and treble are just boosts, and it says that the mid is just cut. that makes no sence!

is this just something i have to get used to? or is something where the bass and treble are actualy JUST BOOST and the mids are JUST CUT?

Supposedly bass on 2, mid on 10, and treble on 2 is the "flat" setting on the 3-band EQ. If you need to boost the mids beyond flat, you'll have to use the semi-parametric mid control. Not exactly intuitive, but I haven't had any trouble getting a good tone out of mine.

this is the classic fender passive interactive eq found on the showman which leo fender used from the rca manual
i haven't used the b-max but the eq is the same on my alembic so it should work the same. It's actually a fantastic eq
