Green overdrive… people seem to be afraid to say it’s based off of a tube screamer. Eventide is using the same language for their new “weedwacker” algorithm.
Probably a trademark thing. Ibanez might not allow other companies to use the tube screamer name in their marketing. Isn't most music gear just copies of other designs? It's not any different from most bass manufacturers that advertise a p or j style bass rather than saying it's a precision bass or jazz bass.
