BEAD on a 4 string spector?

I know that the BEAD tuning has been already discussed... anyway, I would like to buy a 4 string neck-thru spector (a kramer era japanese model or an SSD, because used euros just cost too much) and string it BEAD, so I would like to get some feedback from spector users about this idea...

had anybody tried BEAD on a spector? could the 34' scale be a problem? would the EMG P/J pickups work well with the low B?

i tuned my ns4crfm CGCF for a metal project i played in, and it worked just great...the cinstruction is such on most spectors that they are able to be detuned and still sound good...i had no problems

A neck through would be great for BEAD! When I change a bass to BEAD I usually epoxy the neck joint so the B will not be muddy. 34" scale is no problem. You will have to adjust your truss rod and bridge, besides filing the nut. I usually have to increase the hole sizes at the bridge for the thicker strings.
