For facial hair "beginners" I guess, would anyone go to a barber? I got a situation where the mustache has come in gloriously, but the rest... I don't know what to do with it. I trim at the edge of my mouth to avoid irritation, and I gave up on the cheeks/sides so I shaved them off. I mostly shaved clean for all these years because the sides are not up to par, but I'm sure I can get up to Eugene Hutz status with the 'stache in a couple weeks. It finally curls up!
I'm considering a three musketeers type thing, but it'd be nice to have someone who knows what they're doing do the initial trim, and from there I can easily keep the lines clean with some clippers. Or is that dumb? The tricky/amusing part is that the thing comes in red, even though the top is brown, light brown. This makes it tough to use a mirror for under the chin, or certain angles or lighting. Some whiskers are almost blonde. Weird.
So, should I just man up and risk having to remove it all if things get crooked? Or should I just get some one off help next hair cut? Or is this full beard only and I should take my pansy butt elsewhere? All advice greatly appreciated. My face thanks you in advance.
