my band is hosting a beard growing contest in light of a recent beard discussion on our facebook. I would love to see some of my talkbass brethren participate. Basicly you start clean shaven September 1st and post a weekly pic of your growth. other details are being worked out.

the problem with doing the beardoff, is that it means I would have to shave my current beard in order to do it, and my beard is quick to grow, it is slow in it's thickening - I usually have to wait at least 2 months before it's even "decent" in thickness, especially at the sides.

However, I wish you gentlemen luck in your beard-off.

My beard is not looking too bad at the moment, been a bit lazy lately, will be a shame to shave it off and start again, but meh.

For some reason most of the hairs grow around my jaw and neck, not much up towards my cheeks.
