Beatles no name to Tenor or fretless?

I have a bass that just says "Beatles" on the head.
It came with a RMS 20w amp as a gift from my brother.

Well.. now that I have a Fender Jazz bass I was thinking that I should turn this into a fretted tenor or a fretless bass.

The question is: Is it worth the effort?

Any insight would be appreciated.

I would say go fretless. tenors are cool, but fretlesses have more applications IME

i just reread your original post, it's definitely worth the effort to convert it. (unless you sell it) if you don't convert it, you'll just have a cheaper bass lying around instead of a fretless or a tenor!
