So, anyone know who played on the recording of Gamma Ray and what gear they used? I'm more interested in the latter because I love that tone.
In one live version I saw (Letterman) the bassist was playing some type of P-bass but I couldn't see the headstock or the rig, and it sounded different than the recording anyway (though that may be due to the addition of two or three guitars on that particular performance).
