Becoming Led Zeppelin Documentary

I watched it last night with the wife. We both thought it was pretty good!

I noticed John Paul Jones had the bridge mutes on his Jazz for the first tour but had taken them off by the second. Interesting. I’m tempted to get a set of those aftermarket mutes for my Jazz but then remember virtually everyone took them off, probably for a good reason!

Update: I found the weather history for Salem, Oregon in 1968. On December 30, 1968 Salem got 5.4" of snow. It looks like the Led Zeppelin/Vanilla Fudge date would have been New Years Eve December 31 unless maybe that Spokane date is incorrect. They did play in Portland on December 29 which is only about 50 miles from Salem.
Update: Just came across a mention of the Salem, Oregon Led Zeppelin date. It was supposed to happen on January 1, 1969. There was no snow that day so must have still been on the ground from the December 30 5.4 inches and 0.5 inch that fell on December 31. Would have been their first show of 1969. Instead the first show of 1969 was at The Whisky a Go Go January 2.
