Beginner bassist and new member

Hi everyone new member here ,I’ll introduce myself ,my names bob I purchased my first bass over a year ago , a hofner ignition series violin bass . I was home a lot during the earlier days of the pandemic and thought it would be a good opportunity to learn something new . My father in law has been playing bass for many many years and he is one reason I became interested in learning the instrument . As I’ve become a little more skilled in my playing I recently purchased a 62’ reissue fender precision bass “crafted in Japan” it is now my main bass and Im enjoying it . . Looking forward to learning all I can from this group.
