Beginner book for 11 year old

I have been playing bass for years. Still not very good, but work at it. My 11 year old grandson wants to learn and I have started working with him on some basic technique and note location. I am not a teacher and want to give him a good start at this that won't frustrate him. He plays drums some and has pretty good rhythm, so that helps.

It might be good to have a simple beginner book to work through with him.

Can someone please recommend a good book? He seems to be more of a visual learner, so it might be nice if the book accompanied a series of video lessons.

Maybe you and your son could have a fun jam session listening to your favorite tunes together both taking turns at the bass and drums. It would help you as well to play drum rhythms as the rhythms apply to dynamics on the bass. Have fun
