How the crap can they sell that for $270 on musician's friend? (especially sense that is cheaper than the 4x10)

behringer 8x10 for $270?

The almighty Bass-God made everything in the world, fretless...low-end....thick strings...blisters
but he also made crap...however, those germans managed to find it
and now they amplify it
on a serious note, i had a behringer as my first amp...was good, till you play better and realise how badly you have been living, played a 8x10 and was like....Heaven!
the same amp got nackered coming back from tour, so happy to get 300pounds to a new amp. best feeling ever.

i had the 4x10. when i was 16 and thats all i could afford.
seriously, most of the time you get what you pay for when you buy gear. the rest of the time youre dealing with companies like behringer where you get less than what you pay for.

I'd recommend not buying any Behringer products. Save up for a better one, trust me, you need to.
They make good beginner products.
Many a 13 year old plays a Squier or Epiphone through a Behringer combo in their bedrooms.
An 8x10 isn't a starter cab though. It is of no use in a bedroom or basement and even for medium-sized bars it is way too much firepower.
The price is amazing IMO for the 8x10 and I have no idea how something that big can even be manufacturered (let alone shipped from the far east) for that kind of $$$. I am ASSUMING that it sounds like crap. I have neven played a Behringer 8x10 but the 4x10 I had the displeasure to try was brutal.

I'd guess that absolutely NOBODY wants these things; they want them gone, and the $270 is about what their disposal costs would be...
