I just got one of these a few days ago. It's awesome! The sound quality is great. I love the sound of the "classic clean". I can't wait until I get a real cab so other people can hear it too.
I'll take a number and join the crewEnjoy it, King! You've waited a long time and now you've been V-AMP'd
Let me know if you want a Member # to make it official
Cheers!

Hi All!
I just purchased the Bass V-amp Pro and was wondering which operating mode to use.
I want to plug into the Vamp and send the signal to my Ashdown Mag 300 (with 1 Ashdown cabinet). Just for home use.
What output do i use ( i guess the LEFT analog line output?) and what operating mode do i select?
please help me out here.![]()
That's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to get a QSC GX3 power amp and an Acme Low-B bass cab...Just as soon as I have $800...You don't need a normal amp, you can now get away with a simpler power amp (Crown, QSC, a few others of note) and a good cab (or two if you want to take full advantage of stereo output).

I'm not picky about power amps, just need a decent one with plenty of wattage for the low-b cab. The low-b cab is around $600 just by itself. You may want to give the Crown XLS 1000 some consideration at a weight of 8-pounds and its shallow-depth vs. the GX3's 25-pounds and extra inches
But they're both good!
This looks great!
Others who have expressed difficulty programming their FCB1010 may actually find this a very useful solution.
Cheers!

King, you could maybe focus on finding a quality bass cab, and then changing the speakers to something else that responds better to a the Low B string.
That's kinda bass-ackwards. A cab and the speakers chosen for it if done right is a system, with the cab's internal size and port tuning and size designed FOR the driver. Sometimes a retrofit will work well, but more often than not the cab itself isn't good for the "best" drivers so the sum result is actually not "best".
You guys that want accurate modeling that translates well into the recording and live environments, check out the fEARfuls. Modeling was a big part of why they were designed.
