Behringer BVT4500 & BVT5500

Hey,

I'm interested in purchasing a Behringer BVT5500 as my next amp head and am wondering exactly how they sound. I know that the 450 watt and the 550 watt (and probably the 2500 watt) aren't different from each other tonally. I'm wondering if someone who owns a BVT could post a sound clip or a video of one of them.

I dont reccomend any behringer for giging. The BX4500H is sloppy and undefined, its loud though.

i have used a ultrabass 300 with speaker 15", and when i used it with pedal effect, it started making hum, and noises. what else do you know about deffects of beheringer?,
i havent seen some great artis who wears beheringer

My view of Behringer products in general is that you should not expect boutique quality out of them but they do perform allot better than they cost.
The thing is, people say that the stomp boxes are not sturdy because they are plastic but so were the Ibanez tanks and many of them survived till today, also you wont see me paying like 70€ for a pedal and then treat it like garbage just because it's made of metal. Going to the noise complaint if you have noise there is a problem somewhere in your signal chain, period. Ok maybe some better made pedals can avoid some of the noise but it's there anyway so maybe you could spend less on the fx and more on a good power supply.
I can tell you I get amazing tones out of my BDI21, the only thing that would make me put aside my Bass V-Amp Pro would be a POD X3 Pro and I got better sound out of the Buggera Nuke at the first try than I ever could in almost one year with a warwick head.
