Behringer MIC200?

Alright so I was getting some information from some places where I was going to buy a head, I ended buying the Ampeg B2R (I know its not the best head out there, but I needed something reliable). I was wondering if anybody ran the behringer MIC200 tube preamp through their SS head, some people said it warmed up the sound a little bit, I would be using this for live situations not recording, I would love an SVP-CL but really don't want to drop the bills on it. Also if I do purchase the MIC200, do I run the bass through that and then the head, or run it through the back somehow through the preamp output/input???? If someone could help me out that would be amazing!

Just go bass>mic 200>amp. You could use the effects loop, but running it straight in through the input makes sense to me.

I would really reccomend that you buy the ART tube MP instead though; it's cheaper, does the same job, and ART (going entirely on personal experience) is more reliable than Behringer.
