Behringer pedals

I've been looking for a solid sound for some time now, and finally when i get some money (not much though) i have decided to spend some of it on a pedals effects. Im not bit sure what kind of sound im looking for, so i thought i would be good for me to but 1-3 behringer pedals, because they're not expensive.

You think that the behringer pedals can show me what sound i'm looking for? just for a beginner of pedal-effects?

( note- i've tried pedals at the store but i feel not the same in my own amp :/ )

I think if you're going to buy something new, Behringer is fine for beginners. Once you have more of an idea what you like, then you can find some good deals on better-quality used gear.

You might want to check out the Danelectro FAB pedals, which are considerably cheaper than even behringer pedals, or the Danelectro food pedals which are about the same price.

used Boss is always a good idea too.

OK, I understand, but even so: There are some solidly-made pedals which have been providing solid service for twenty years or more, and they have good resale value. Behringers will not last that long, and they have almost no resale value.

I actually sold my Behringer bass overdrive for the price I bought it for! I couldn't believe it.

I just want to try out pedals when im playing with my band, and if i like some pedal ill go with them for a expensive ones.

If I were you, I would buy a multi-effects unit. Zoom, Korg and Digitech all make decent one's for about the same price as three Behringer pedals. A multi-effect will give you WAY more options and expose you to tons of effects. After you've spent some time with it and found the sounds that are the most useful to you, you could upgrade to better quality, single pedals. This way makes the most sense to me and will give you the most bang for your buck.

thats the route i took, went with the digitech. im about to start buying pedals soon.

It's the route I took, too. I started out with a Zoom BFX-708 and I learned a lot.

definetly buy a multi-effect board, particularly one with an expression pedal. they will expose you to all kinds of effects, and from there you can decide what you like, and then buy the pedal that will create a (better) version of that effect.

Don't ever buy any pedals. You will be sucked into the effects addiction that the rest of us have, and spend the rest of your life secretly browsing the Electro-Harmonix website secretly to hide your pedal habit from your angry g/f or wife, who thinks you have 'given up'. It's not worth the risk!
