Behringer vs. ampeg rig

Ampeg vs. Behringer. That's like Mercedes vs. Hyundai. One is pro grade, the other is consumer grade. It really comes down to how much money you want to spend and how long you plan on having the setup.

If you can afford it, get the Ampeg stuff. It's an investment really. The Behringer stuff will get you by, but you'll want to replace it in a few years or less and upgrade to something else, which will cost you more money in the long run.

Disclaimer: I use an SVT-5 Pro w/ PR-410 HLF so my opinion is slightly biased.

No, I didn't. I had to have the heavy duty metal grill on it because I gig a lot, so the PR series was the only choice, not that the specs weren't up to par though, I didn't settle by any means. I wish they made the PR in a 6x10 cause the 8x10 is too big, but I could handle something bigger than the 4x10, I might get another PR-410 soon.

Because I have faith in American products and because I don't want to have to call a different country to get customer service.

Not to say foriegn products are bad in any way. In fact my bass is a Warwick.

Yeah that;s fair enough, I wasn't trying to stir anything up by any means I just had an opinion.

But with most non US made products the constumer service is in the US and actually a lot of American companies have customer service call centres in India so I'd also be willing to bet that not all customer service places for American music companies are in America.

And also don't forgot that just because I company is American, doesn't mean that the product is made in America.

For a variety of reasons beyond just the programming, I'd go with CFMI.

That said, I haven't yet tuned in to CFOX's latest format change (of about 2 months ago), but I understand it to be a cheap version of CFMI.

I actually only listen to radio when they're either featuring my band or if it's the University station (CITR 101.9 FM).

Odd question.

I lived in Vanouver for years and was never able to get CITR on the dial, with or without hooking it into my cable. I lived at West 4th and fir for a year even, which is fairly close (I thought) but still didn't matter. I read (past tense of the word, can't get it out here sadly) Dischorder fanatically when it came out though.
