Benevolo Cinque Demonstrated by Marco Panascia

This is one of the first basses that has tempted me to crack open my wallet since I retired:

This thing might even beat the Marcustico.
(Whose stock strings, which I believe are Galli G77-4 black nylon tapewounds, in my humble opinion do it a disservice, no doubt also due to the specific piezo used: the result is not enough removed from the classic Rob Allen ilk, for my liking. I'm still curious to hear it with real double-bass strings.)

The D'Addario ETB92 sound very good on the Benevolo (the single gut G is obviously its own thing, but it's not half bad either).
