Best amp/cab combo under $400 us.

I have a small Harke I've used for 3 years to learn with and now use for small area gigs. I need something bigger ( more power) now so I'm not over powered by the rest of the group. I'm on an extremely tight budget and can only afford about $400. I'm not picky about if it's new or used, as long as it's worth the money. And if any one thinks it matters I play a Yamaha 4 string and a Peavey 5 string.

For that budget my preference would be for an old Peavey or gk or acoustic or hartke head around the $150-200 mark. The hartke lh series amps come up stupid cheap used for a newish, nice sounding amp. Then I'd look for an equally old 2x15 cab like Peavey, earth, sunn if you need serious volume. If you only need moderately more than what your little hartke combo provides, then a Peavey Tnt combo might do the trick. If somewhere in-between those, some of the ampeg svt cabs can be had used for around $200, like the svt-410he and svt-15e and are really solid performers.
