Best Amp/Cab for Upright Electric Bass?

Without getting complicated does anyone have any particular amp/cabs that works best for an electric upright bass? My instrument is a BSX electric upright (love it) and I am trying to wade through all the options but most products seem to be slanted towards electric bass guitar. Many seem overly complicated too. I am currently playing through an Ashdown Rootmaster 500 15" with 2X10 ext cab which is fine but I think I could do better. I favor warm natural tone. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The very best I heard for an upright bass was a GK MBE 112 like the picture below.

Sounded super natural, organic in a small setup. I don't know if that would be loud enough for your needs though.

I have GK MBS I got off a local auction and compared it to my Traynor SB 106. The Traynor sounds a smidge better to my ears. The EQ section of the SB 106 is very similar. . By comparison, the MBE's EQ section isn't as easy to dial in because of the Semi Parametric Mid Setup. Years ago, when I traded my trusty Gallien Krueger 200MB Combo ( not the GK MB 200 head) for a MBE I was really dissatisfied with the tone palate. Just my take however.

I saw that little SB 106 but never was willing to give it a try because of its miniature size but you just changed my mind……..

It's a great amp. The RMS power is 100 watts RMS into the internal 8 ohm speaker which is the same as the MBE/MBS it handles, duos, trios, and some quartets, depending on their repertoire. For anything larger I have a GR Bass AT Cube Acoustic which will handle virtually everything else I play. Just my take however. /

Like in days of old ( think Ampeg B-15N) the Gain control is the Volume Control. So as Daffy Duck once put it to Buggs Bunny " Noun Trouble"
