Best amp for bag end cab?

hello, im searching a d10bx-d cab and im wondering which amp will work better for the cab. Since im overseas and i cant test diferent brands, I need that some of you guys could help me with this...

You are right...certain Amps match better with certain cabs...
Im looking a uncolored Sound (not eden for example)

Perhaps my acoustic image focus is the ticket...

one that can cut highs. I owned the Q10 at one time and hated the one odd speaker, if it had all non x speakers i would have liked it a lot more

yep...I read that is a downside the fact that you cant cut the highs from the coaxial....

yep, nothing against bag end whatsoever, they make very nice stuff. If I ever bought another it would be a non coax 15

My Epifani is awesome. I run 4x10 and 2x10 together or separate.

I think that where you are geographically makes a big difference. It shouldn't but it does. Service and parts availability. Which brands can you buy readily? If they are British - Ashdown, Laney etc or in mainland Europe - Tecamp, Markbass.

I love Bag End cabs...have several I swear by. Except the d10bx-d. Sold it and never looked back. Just was not for me. As for best amps...we have ran everything through our bag ends. Literally dozens and dozens of bass heads and guitar heads...they always sound amazing. But I am a bit biased because I own them.

I ran my Bugera 1000 watts and over a short time 1yr it burnt the speaker coil. BagEnd s15 8ohm cab. sometimes I stack two cabs

Check in at the bag end club thread, this is a zombie.

I run a Bugera 1000 watts on my BAG END S15 coaxel. Some times I stack a second one and at 8 ohms ea. However the amp has burnt both speaker coils. Don't know what went wrong. Perhaps I should only run 400/500 watts of power through those cabs.
Any suggestions anyone?

Well, Peavey 700Max. Or a Genz Benz Shuttle6.0. Or maybe a Genz Benz GBE600. Or SWR. These are heads I have used, all with huge sound and very nice tones.

The best one for you is the one you prefer. (Stay aware of power and ohms.)
