Best amp for slap?

A headphone amp so no-one else has to hear it.

+1 Now that response I like.

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't purchase an amp based on one particular technique. It might sound great for slap but you may find it sounds horrible when playing fundamental finger style which you would be playing for 90% of the time in 90% of bands.

Look for one with a great basic all round tone that is flexible enough to dial in a great slap tone when needed.

You should never slap your amp. Try to reason with it first.

But seriously, I don't play that style any more thankfully, ( I was terrible at it) but when I did, I used GK or Hartke amps with Hartke 410 cabs. Its easy to get a good funk/slap tone with either one.

The amp you use should be able to do anything you ask of it. Really work til the tone you get comes from a change in your hand position left and right and your touch. You don't see pros run back to their amps and dial up extensive eq changes run back to the front of the stage and back again. Yes people set up multiple channels to have different settings. Yet if you go see acoustic players, guitar or bass, classical, bluegrass, jazz or popular you will hear different tones without the aid of eq. changes.
I think that some non tweetered cabs may give you less accentuation but it may be more pleasing.:/
