No need to post them, but the two that I find most offensive are The Scorpions Virgin Killers and Blind Faith. Basically child porn

The girl on the Blind Faith cover is "Eve"...tempting us with technology (the jet).
Cool concept, IMO. I guess a more mature woman (20-something) woulda been squashed by the Label.
There's a story why this girl was used for the photo.
Back in the day, I always assumed it was a boy.

Back when the 33rpm large vinyl album was the standard you got a 12" cover/sleve to hold it. This was a great place for Art. But then tapes and cd came along and the art got smaller. Now you can download the mp3 and not get any art.

The Rush one always felt really pretentious to me.

I have to say that career-wise, Pearl Jam is one of the best bands for cover art. Not that the cover art is the best on its own, but the aesthetics of the cover art and the music on the album are always a spot-on match. Ten's cover is just as oppressive and moody as the music. Vs. is more raw and aggressive. Yield is crisp and a little more refreshing. Binaural is ambient and spacey. And so on and so forth.
