After IV, I was a little let down by HOTH (IIRC).
After numerous listens, it only got better & better.
Especially before it was remastered and they discovered Newsted DID in fact play on it...

I forgot they were remastering it. I looked up some reviews and apparently, there's still no bass. Oh well. I woud've bought it if there was bass on it. Still love the album though. I'll stick with the CD I bought back in the mid 1990s.
So many to choose from. Here are single cuts from two that, not to be bathetic, were life-changing:
I just found Paul Rogers' Tribute to Muddy Waters. Freaking incredible bass on this album. I was just locked into it and couldn't stop listening. The bass tone is just killer, fretless work is awesome and the grooves are addictive.
So I googled the album and found out it was Pino. No wonder I was mesmerized and blown away.
