ive been saving up for about 5 months now ( i dont have a job cuz im 14 but i do work on a farm 3 days outa the week if that counts actually) and i have about 350 dollars. I want to get the best and biggest amp that i can buy with that money, but heres the catch, it has to be easy to transport to and from friends houses to jam and stuff....so can someone help me out? i was thinking about the Fender rumble 100 combo bass amp but i dont know alot about it so id like some feedback on that too! Whatever you do dont buy the ampeg ba115 combo. I have one and Hate it. The acoustic would be great. I think you should save up alittle more and get like a 2x10 cab and a cheap head. Ashdown would be great. That way if you find gear you dont like you can trade it in and get something else.
Yes, check out the new Acoustic stuff. You could get the B200 combo with $$ to spare. Otherwise, used stuff is your best option.
I used a friends fender rumble 60 in a misfits cover band. It wasnt bad, It sounded very punchy. And didnt hiss like my ampeg combo. I still would recomend a 2x10 and like a 300 watt ashdown head. I cant remember what site but they are selling ashdown stuff at really low prices.
