Best bass DI for under $100

i snagged a used Sansamp Bass Driver DI for $110!
haven't even gotten to try it out yet...

MXR M80 Bass DI+ fits the bill if you are willing to purchase used. Run as a DI with EQ, it doesn't affect your natural tone. The overdrive portion is not to the liking of some here at TB, but it seems fine to me. I am pretty good to my pedals, so mine has seen no abuse, but they are reported to be very rugged as well.
