Best Bass for Open Blues Jam

Take the six, dial in a good bluesy tone, and off you go. Your personal comfort is more important than anything else.

As far as blues 'etiquette' re instruments is concerned, do what I do - ignore it.

(For what it's worth, I'd have no qualms at all taking my TRB6 to a blues jam. With flat wound strings, pickup blend slightly favoring the neck, and bass EQ boosted a tad, it has a great tone for blues.)
