One of my favs is Squire's intro on the song Magnification (from the album Magnification - Yes), his tone and phrasing just kill me on the one.

Max Webster's "Universal Juveniles" is a great (and very under-rated) album. Definitely one of my favorites. Max Webster toured as the opening act for Rush back in the 80's.
Albert Collins "Cold Cuts" from the "Deluxe Edition" CD. I don't know who the bassist is on this song, but it is totally funky.
Les Claypool is always a good choice.
"One Better" from his solo CD "Of Whales and Woe". This is one of my favorite bass songs.
"Hamburger Train" from "Pork Soda" is killer too.
"Come On" on the Stanley Clark CD "The Toys of Men"
"Pigs (Three DIfferent Ones)" from Pink Floyd "Animals"
