It doesn't matter, as long as they are not cheapies that will leak. The current draw of an instrument is nearly nothing for the battery.

Some people find that one brand may be a little fatter than the other and affect the fit.

I'm really amazed that Monster hasn't gotten into the Instrument Battery market, with special 9V batteries for Jazz, Rock, Metal, Acoustic etc.

I'm not kidding.
