See post #4Mesa's 1x15 cainet is the punchiest 15 I've ever played through. The 2x15 is wall crumbling.
The 215 as a stand alone then? I am playing bass and main vox, so my bass lines are fairly simple, at least for me. I the "shake" but the definition of the mids so I can be heard. I think I am better off with the foot vibrations. Thats a hard one to cut through. 215 sounds good, I'll check out some prices.

15s can actually put out a lot of mids, so don't worry about it being all low end and nothing else. If you find a decent 2x15 at a good price, that could work well for you as long as you can transport the thing.
You won't be disappointed. I actually prefer my Mesa 6x10 over the 2x15, it just has so much bass and a little punchier. The times I have played through the 2x15 I just had a smile on my face the whole time. If you want the best of both worlds, the 1200 is 4x10" and a 15" in the same cabinet. It is amazing.

I was looking at there site, my god![]()

Are there any brands I should keep my eye on?
never heard of them.
Oh, I see. So does this mean that you're interested only in recommendations for brands that you already knew about?
Never mind. My mistake...
