Best cheap bass tuning keys?

One of the tuning keys on my Jackson tend to making a cracking noise when I turn it a full circle, so I been considering just replacing them all... Only I don't wanna spend a lot. I'm pretty broke, so any good suggestions for a man on a budget?

I've been pleased with Grovers. Not the cheapest you can find - I would say they are on the low end of mid-priced.

Musiclily, Wilkinson and Schaller are very good for the price.

I been looking at both Wilkinson and Musiclily, maybe I'll order a 6 string set, in case some turn out to be bad

It might just be grit in the gears. A strip, clean and lube may sort it out.

I'll give that a try. If that fixes it, it will save me some money, which I am all too willing to do. I've considered grovers but I have too many things to buy first lol.

Hipshot USA Ultralights are a good cheap tuning machine as well.
