Best color ever?

Color is a weird thing. Sometimes a color that looks great in one application looks terrible elsewhere. An example would be yellow ochre. The color looks stunning on a late-60s/early 70s Alfa Romeo GTV. Same color on a Datsun looks like baby poop. For that matter, the same color on an Alfa Spider doesn't work. So why is it so great on a GTV?

That being said, my favorite colors tend to be jewel tones, with emerald being high on my list at the moment. My wish bass (that doesn't exist) would be an emeraldglo fretless Ric 4004.

Candy-apple red.
It looks great on almost any bass, & it absolutely refuses to blend into the background.
Be seen and be heard!

I was waiting like half a minute for the picture to load....
Any picture would have required a rainbow slice of many, many colors on a generic bass, so you could choose. Decided to use the word general to personalize for responders. I remember President Eisenhower asking the same question...oh, somewhere summer of 1954 I think IIRC, when he was trying out a Fender P...and so thought to see what us "moderns" would say.

I thought the post was going to be a picture of a bass that you proposed has the best color ever, and asking what does everyone think about it.
