Best color ever?

Yeah I know the photo's gone but I just posted it for the description of the finish.

I looked at it different lights and angles a few minutes ago and I agree. It looks more honey satin than honey burst.
Still nice tho and you got your P. Wish I had my white 1972 Fender P I stupidly sold back in the mid-70's. It was a real sweetie regardless that it was not honey burst.

I know you said in general, but... this is a bass forum. So... here's my top 3:

Fiesta Red, Lake Placid Blue, Seafoam Green

...An example would be yellow ochre. The color looks stunning on a late-60s/early 70s Alfa Romeo GTV...
A girl i went to high school with received an India red Porche for graduation. More than a few times I heard her dad refer to as please give me a ticket officer red.
I tend to favor clear coated natural ash, i am partial to nightwatch blue lacqure. In most light it’s black but in bright white light or sunlight it’s a beautiful deep deep blue.

You can have any color you like as long as its BLACK (Henry Ford about the T)
Black goes with anything and looks cool scratched up and beaten too.
White looks terrible scratched up.
Any other color involves taste and cultural/political considerations.
Natural wood is the easy way out for some ......
I have owned black basses, but don´t have any at the moment.
Keep it black.
