Yeah I know the photo's gone but I just posted it for the description of the finish.Sure would like to see it on the link you provided, but the site said IMAGE COMING SOON, darn it.
Still nice tho and you got your P. Wish I had my white 1972 Fender P I stupidly sold back in the mid-70's. It was a real sweetie regardless that it was not honey burst.Yeah I know the photo's gone but I just posted it for the description of the finish.
I looked at it different lights and angles a few minutes ago and I agree. It looks more honey satin than honey burst.
I Googled it to see some images and none of them really look like a burst...Still nice tho and you got your P. Wish I had my white 1972 Fender P I stupidly sold back in the mid-70's. It was a real sweetie regardless that it was not honey burst.
The guys at Fender have a good eye for reds. Torino Red is a cool color, and will be my next color. I can’t seem to afford any Pelham Blue instruments right now.I know you said in general, but... this is a bass forum. So... here's my top 3:

I don't quite understand what you're asking. So whaddaya think over all in a general way?
If you're talking about a bass or guitar, black or sunburst.
If you're talking about a vintage muscle car, then flat black is the way to go.
Woman's underwear? Red tickles my fancy.![]()

A girl i went to high school with received an India red Porche for graduation. More than a few times I heard her dad refer to as please give me a ticket officer red....An example would be yellow ochre. The color looks stunning on a late-60s/early 70s Alfa Romeo GTV...
